Dan Mihai Dumitriu
Midokura
Dan Mihai Dumitriu is Chief Technology Officer of Midokura, a Sony Group company, leading an R&D team for advanced development of edge computing and AI technologies. He has deep technical insight into complex distributed systems, data center networks, and software architecture. At Logitech, Dan built an elite software engineering team and led the transformation of IT operations through devops best practices and supervised R&D projects in machine learning and wireless mesh networking. At Oracle, he represented the Oracle Cloud organization in Europe and enabled regional field and customer success organizations. Earlier in his career Dan was a software engineer at Amazon where he led the development of a highly decentralized service mesh. Dan has a BA and MEng in CS from Cornell University.
